Multi proposed shelf

Now that my daughter is older we needed a place to put our music speakers where she couldn't reach it. While I was putting this shelf up, I noticed all her hair bands hanging around and thought of this idea to take care of the hair band mess. 

I took three baby food jars and screwed the lids to the bottom of the shelf. I also added a small nail next to the screw to stabilize the lid and keep it from rotating. I added some ribbon to hide the lids and make it girly.  I like how it turned out and takes care of finding a place for all those hair items. Oh make sure the lids and the jars have a snug fit. 

Projects.

I love to do different projects and I needed a place to share some of my successes and failures. I like to dabble in  all sorts of things from crocheting, sewing, cooking, to soap making, and gardening. So will this blog have a theme, probably not. It just my place to share what I've tried. Most of which have some form of function in my life. I typically am not a frivolous crafter butt I enjoy crafting with a purpose. I hope you enjoy!
